Learner support
Safeguarding and the Prevent strategy is our priority
Safeguarding is central to everything we do at t2 group. We are committed to protecting the wellbeing, safety, and dignity of every learner, ensuring a safe and respectful environment across all our apprenticeship and training programmes.
If you need safeguarding advice or wish to raise a concern, please contact our Safeguarding Team at safeguarding@t2group.co.uk
Our approach
We work collaboratively with learners and employers to ensure safeguarding is embedded into every stage of the learning journey:
- Awareness: Learners understand what safeguarding means and how to access support
- Partnership: Open communication between learners, employers, and team members
- Training: Team members are trained to recognise risks and respond appropriately
- Respect and dignity: Everyone is treated with respect, reflecting our values
Safeguarding resources
We provide clear and practical guidance to help learners and employers understand safeguarding responsibilities and how to report concerns.
These resources support early identification and reporting of safeguarding concerns, including abuse, neglect, exploitation, bullying, discrimination, and risks linked to radicalisation.
Raising concerns
If you have witnessed harm or abuse in your place of work, you should follow your internal Safeguarding procedures.
If you have done this and you don’t believe your concerns have been taken seriously or acted upon, then you should escalate this to your internal Safeguarding Team or HR department, following this up in writing. If you continue to have concerns, you should contact Care Quality Commission (CQC) in England.
If you are experiencing harm or abuse yourself, you should speak to someone you trust. This could be:
- A friend
- A family member
- A medical professional such as your GP, Practice Nurse, or a Police Officer
If there is an immediate risk of harm Call 999 in an emergency or Call 101 for non-emergency police assistance.
